Intellectual Property and Prohibited Conduct

1. Intellectual Property Rights

All rights, title, and interest in and to the FortiGuide app, including but not limited to its software, code, design, algorithms, features, graphics, user interface, trademarks, trade names, and all associated intellectual property, are and shall remain the sole and exclusive property of Contractor Integrity Systems, LLC. By downloading or using FortiGuide, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the app strictly in accordance with these Terms of Service.
  • You do not gain ownership or intellectual property rights to the app or any of its components.

2. Prohibited Actions

You agree that you will not, under any circumstances:

  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise access or derive the source code, object code, structure, or design of FortiGuide.
  • Modify, copy, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on FortiGuide or any part of it.
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices (including copyright and trademark notices) within the app.
  • Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in any manner inconsistent with these Terms of Service.
  • Bypass, circumvent, or interfere with any security features or measures designed to protect the app or its functionality.

3. Enforcement of Terms

In the event of any violation of these Terms of Service, including but not limited to attempts to reverse engineer or otherwise compromise the integrity of the app, Contractor Integrity Systems, LLC reserves the right to:

  • Terminate or suspend your access to FortiGuide without notice.
  • Pursue all available legal remedies, including but not limited to filing claims for damages, seeking injunctive relief, and recovering attorney’s fees and costs.
4. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service and your use of FortiGuide are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Metairie, Louisiana.
